This summer has been a crazy one! It has presented those of us out here in the mid west with tons of ticks and chiggers. On a personal level we have been experiencing plenty of their wrath. We have bombed our house and sprayed the back yard to try and find some relief.
However with those precaution's taken the last couple of days we have notices some bites especially bad on our two little guys. They have been playing out side a lot, and we don't always remember to spray them down. In observing these bites we thought there was a new viscous creature in our yard. After two nights of little sleep I decided to take the guys in to see if we had something we may not have been thinking of.
It turns out the boys have a rare strain of chicken pox. Yup. So we are canceling going to a family reunion and a dinner party we were planning with some friends. We are hunkering down for the next week to enjoy another one of life's little adventures. Boy, some adventures are more enjoyed than others. Tally-ho!
No fun, but why couldn't it happen when we could come over and get it! :) Good luck making it through.
