Well, its been a bit crazy around here. We have had 13 people under our roof for any given time the past month and a half. In handling it my gracefulness has become less than desirable. There have been plenty of good moments though. Our oldest boy and his wife have been able to find jobs. Her brother too has found a job. Our daughter-in-laws cousin has been trying hard, but is now trying to decide whether it would be better to go else where to find work.
We had a piano recital last week which ended in a vomitous mess, not due to nerves like one would guess, rather due to over heating. Everyone survived. But we went from 70 something to 100 degrees over night and while we tried to be prepared...we weren't.
My parents have been in and out of our place for the last couple of weeks. My mom has been great at helping in relieving some of the stress by helping do loads of dishes for me. I am a lucky girl. It has also been fun having her and Dad around to chat with when Either of us have a moment.
The older kids have been more than willing to help with the younger children which has also been a great blessing.
One of my neighbors "kidnapped" me last week to help keep my sanity. We went out for shakes and a pop. It was nice to visit with out the interruption of my precious little children. Nore having to look around and see my home in chaos.
School will be out mid week, until then I have a talent show to attend and children to move out. I thought things would slow down when school gets out but I realized there will be more dishes and activities to come up with. They say there is no rest for the wicked. I have a long ways to go apparently. *Sigh*
